The loud, intense peppermint makes the pálinka truly refreshing, crisp and piquant, so not just the usual blackcurrant character appears on the nose. The flavour profile recalls strongly the red berry tones in combination with the spicy notes from the scent. Long lingering, pleasant aftertaste. Overall a youthful, cool product, recommended for everyone, who very much loves blackcurrant.

The fruity flavour profile is dominated by the barrel’s enhanced vanilla and spicy note. Finish is showing also quite a bit of wood, vanilla yet going on with a long length.

The spiciness of the apple is followed by the waxiness of the fruit and enhanced by the woody character of the barrel, such as vanilla. Due to the ageing there is some tannic grip as well which adds to the elegance. The flavour profile suggest apple and spiciness in combination with some wood aromas coming from the barrel. The dry tasting note shows also complete balance, truly a harmonious product.
