Red Veltelini Grape Pálinka – 2015

Finesse on the nose with fresh green spiciness, citrus and some winey, leesy character. Elegant and well-rounded style, accompanied by kernel oiliness, red berry fruit and a hint of tart and sweet note, which make it overall very pleasant and memorable. Medium long finish.

Penyigei Plum Pálinka

Fine, waxy character on the nose, followed by charming floral components, tart skin and slightly jammy notes. Refreshing fruitiness appears on the palate, accompanied by sweet marzipan, pleasant kernel attitude, lively, fresh spiciness and ripe plum. Long finish and good typicity.

Peach Pálinka

The nose recalls the sweet, tart, clove character of the fresh fruit. Very refreshing on the palate, underlined by compote and Muscat like aromas, which highlight its special quality. Sweetly soft, suggesting the juicy, fleshy character of the fruit. It shows nicely the rather difficult-to-extract varietal character. During the tasting we almost get the sensation of biting into a fresh fruit.

N17 – Raspberry Pálinka

Deep jammy notes and ripe fruitiness appear on the nose, underlined by some kernel oily character, accompanied by ethereal and piquant spiciness in the back. Fruit dominance pops up on the palate, followed by some spiciness, sweet, yet pleasant tone, delivering a complete picture. Long lingering finish with distinct fruity personality. Harmonious, complex pálinka with finesse, well-done indeed.

N17 – Irsai Olivér Grape Pálinka

Pronounced citrus tones and some raisin character appear on the nose, delivering distinct floral, rose like, perfume tones. Ripe and sweet on the palate, recalling grape blossom. The lively and crisp fruitiness leaves first on the finish, however the kernel notes, the rose and the
perfume stay forever.

N17 – Blackcurrant Pálinka

Fresher, lighter style of currant pálinka. The pronounced, but not over the top herbal character and the fine sweet fruitiness, harvested at optimal ripeness, elevate it over the average. The youthful style makes it popular, led by red berry fruitiness. Elegant pálinka with long lingering finish. Velvet structure on the end, truly exciting product.

Apricot Pálinka

The scent immediately captures the consumer, fresh, floral, crunchy fleshy fruit full of vigour. The flavour profile suggest sweet, citrus, fine home made jam, a feeling as eating fresh fruit straight from the tree. Followed by a marzipan kernel note which stays tune all the way to the end. Well composed, very harmonious product which is exciting and captivating at the same time.

N16 – Aged Plum Pálinka

Golden colour. Pleasant red berry fruitiness appears on the nose, followed by kernel character and elegant, soft vanilla. The marzipan like kernel touch on the palate is mixed with sweet spiciness. Dried fruity, slightly tart, medium long finish.

N16 – Bedded Sour Cherry Pálinka

Ruby colour. Elegant, soft chocolate like notes, candy and the tartness of the fruit peel seduce the consumer. Candied orange, due to the bedding process, followed by chocolate and fine, sweet, spicy tones. Long finish with harmony and smooth structure.

Irsai Olivér Grape Pálinka

Notes of citrus, fruit, Muscat like character showing all the attributes of the variety, underlined by various rose types making it complete. The flavour profile suggest Muscat resembling perfume with some kernel character. Clean in style, without any tannic grip, lovely on the finish as well. Seductive and special it is indeed a very tempting and captivating product.
